I am thrilled to share this enchanting Bartram’s Garden PA Maternity Session featuring the lovely, Roshni + Anton, their adorable pup, Kingston. Roshni and I know each other from my teaching days, when we worked together.
I’m so happy Roshni and I stayed in touch over the years as she is an incredibly sweet person! A couple years ago, I captured their portrait session, which also included Kingston! In fact, their portrait session inspired my previous post that provided tips for including your dog in an engagement session, which you can view here.
Kingston is an amazing dog and very well behaved! I was so happy we were able to incorporate Kingston into their Bartram’s Garden Maternity session! You can tell how protective he is already, as he rarely left Roshni’s side. After Seraphina’s arrival, I have no doubt that he will be her gentle protector.
Bartram’s Garden Philadelphia PA
I captured their Maternity session at the dreamy Bartram’s Garden in Philadelphia, PA. Roshni + Anton knew they wanted a whimsical, fairytale-like feel to their Maternity photos, which this location absolutely provided. Bartram’s Garden is a dreamy location featuring fields of tall grass, lush greenery, and patches of flowers.
Additionally, Roshni + Anton wanted their photos captured somewhere close to nature as they both LOVE nature and go hiking often. I can already imagine the memories this sweet family will make together as they take their sweet baby girl on walks and introduce her to the great outdoors.
Roshni was absolutely glowing as she held her sweet baby bump. Soon she will be holding her sweet baby girl in her arms! I loved capturing these precious moments of Roshni and Anton together before Seraphina’s birth. Roshni + Anton, I am so incredibly happy for you both!

Dear Seraphina,
We have done a lot of preparation in anticipation of your arrival. Yes, we have gotten the nursery ready. Set up the car seat. Bought and washed all of the adorable outfits. But before all of that, we worked diligently to ensure we’d be the best versions of ourselves for you.
I have spent years in therapy. I’ve worked through my trauma so I don’t pass it on to you. So that we can break the generational cycles together. So that I can be a wonderful partner to your father. So that I can be your strongest advocate and warmest embrace. Your father has worked tirelessly to create a safe, compassionate, and healthy space for us to grow together. He has read the books and attended sessions so he can better understand our needs. He has been dedicated and loving every second we have been together.
Your arrival will complete our family. So when you open your eyes for the first time and see us smiling at you, remember that we have done this all for you. For us. Remember that….
You are loved and wanted.
You will be supported and encouraged.
You will be cherished and cared for.
You will be safe.
We cannot wait to meet you, sweet strong girl. We love you more than even we can fathom. You have us. All of us. Always.
