Personally, I’m so grateful for Alex’s support over the years as I have grown in my own skillset and business. The opportunity to capture her branding session was so fun! We spent the day at the beautiful PCB Home here in New Jersey, and really took the time to strategically capture the different facets of her businesses.
Alex was able to recruit some friends to join her for her brand session, one to act as a client/mentor in person, and the other to showcase coaching online. Obviously, we couldn’t forget to include some wedding photography albums she has from her past weddings!
I love the way Alex’s brand colors were incorporated in every single outfit she wore. All the photos worked seamlessly on her website, continuing the beautiful light, airiness of her brand.
Tell us about you and your brand! What do you do and who do you serve?
I’m a photographer and photography educator. I help hobbyist photographers grow and pro photographers build their own thriving businesses.
What made you initially decide to book a branding session?
I initially decided to book a branding session because I was in need of updated headshots for a new website I was launching for the photography education side of my business. Once I got the photos back, I loved them so much that I decided to also use them to update my headshots on my photography websites.
What was your favorite part about your branding session?
My favorite part of the branding session was being guided into the poses and angles that would be the most flattering to me. As a photographer myself, I’m not used to being in front of the camera so I appreciated the encouragement, posing tips, and overall guidance.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about booking a branding session with Jocelyn?
Jocelyn will get to know you, your business, and your photography needs. In addition, she will make sure that you feel at ease so that you can achieve the images you’re looking for to showcase yourself to your ideal clients. Brand photography with Jocelyn is an investment that is worth every penny.

It’s not every day you get to capture a fellow wedding photographer’s branding session! It is so fun being able to collaborate with Alex who has impacted me so much in my professional career. Her encouragement has been a gift over the years. It was fun to have her on the other side of the lens! I truly love this community we have here in New Jersey!
