Today, we’re highlighting a branding photography session that I did with fellow photographer, Marianne Bley!
Marianne Bley is the owner of Imagery By Marianne, a boutique photography studio that specializes in wedding and newborn photography here in New Jersey. She’s no stranger to photography and has run her business since 2008!
As a result of Marianne’s insight as a photographer, we were able to capture a variety of shots that showcased her skill in a studio and on location, client products, and her joy because of her planning beforehand! Because of that, she walked away with a gallery full of images she can use for her marketing materials, social media, and website.

What was your favorite part about your brand photography session?
Just embracing all of the hard work I have done to get where I am today. It was fun to get pampered, dress up, and show off what I love to do! Every business owner should experience a day like that – to be proud of yourself and not afraid to show it.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about booking a brand photography session with Jocelyn?
Plan, plan, plan! I think mine was so successful because I had so many options with outfits and concepts to show off my work. In addition, think about the situations you encounter in your business and how to incorporate that in the shoot. For example, as a photographer, I wanted to show myself working on location, in my studio, and showing clients their products.
What was it like working with Jocelyn?
Jocelyn is such a wonderful person, inside and out. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. She truly knows how to make you shine and she cares about you and how you’re feeling throughout the shoot and beyond. I can’t say enough about her talents!
