Today, we’re highlighting a personal brand photography session we did with my dear friend of over 25 years – Tina Wells!

Tina Wells is a business strategist, advisor, and founder of Elevation Tribe, a community and quarterly publication she created to help women launch, grow and lead their businesses with a focus on women of color. In addition, Tina is the author of six books, including the best-selling tween fiction series Mackenzie Blue and the marketing handbook, Chasing Youth Culture and Getting It Right. Her latest book, The Zee Files, launches December 1, 2020, exclusively at Target (yes – Target!!!).

Tell us about you and your brand. What do you do and who do you serve?

My name is Tina Wells, and I am a business strategist, author, and founder of Elevation Tribe, a platform developed for women of color to help them launch, grow and lead businesses. My brand stands for inspiration and inclusion, and I try to implement that in everything I do. I also believe that all children deserve to see themselves represented in media and culture.

What made you initially decide to book a branding session?

I decided to book a branding session because it had been a few years since my last photoshoot and I needed something that accurately reflected the evolution of my brand. Plus, I needed something updated for my forthcoming series, The Zee Files, releasing December 1 in Target!

What was your favorite part about your branding session?

My favorite part of my brand session was how quick it was! I selected more photos from this shoot than any other, although it took less time than other sessions I’ve been a part of.
