While I’ve been in the photography industry for quite some time, some may wonder why I shoot boudoir and what made me make this shift. And for me, there a several reasons why I began to offer a luxury Boudoir experience. First, boudoir is more than just a photo session – it’s a journey of self-love, healing, and rediscovery. My “why” for being a Boudoir photographer runs deep. It’s rooted in my story, in the women who shaped me, and in the life-changing moments that made me who I am today.

Raised by a Sisterhood of Strength
I grew up surrounded by strong, radiant women. On both my mom’s and dad’s side, I was immersed in a world full of aunties and women who embraced each other with love and confidence. I watched them laugh together, lift each other up, and pour into one another with hair, makeup, fashion, and affirmation. It wasn’t vanity; it was sacred. It was self-love in action. And from a young age, I understood how powerful it is when women choose to celebrate themselves and each other.
Loss, Love, and a New Lens on Womanhood
In 2019, I experienced something that would forever shape my perspective on life and womanhood. I was pregnant with triplets, three beautiful girls. I lost them shortly after birth. The pain of that loss shook me to my core, and in the months that followed, I had to face every inch of myself—physically, emotionally, spiritually.
That experience challenged how I saw my body. The marks, the changes, the grief—I had to dig deep. And what I found was this: my body had carried life. My body had survived. My body, broken and whole at the same time, was sacred. I began to feel immense gratitude for the strength I didn’t even know I had. I also started to see how hard women can be on themselves… how often we forget how miraculous we truly are.
Becoming a Cheerleader for Every Woman
With time—and with the support of God, my husband, and my family—I began to heal. And in that healing, something awakened in me: a passion for helping women see themselves through a different lens. I realized how much I love making people feel beautiful in my presence. It lights me up to encourage others, to shift their focus from flaws to radiance, from shame to celebration.
I’ve always been the kind of person who can spot someone’s light, even when they don’t see it themselves. Now, through boudoir, I get to show them. I get to hold up a mirror that reflects back their strength, their softness, their fire.
The Transformation I Witness
There’s something magical that happens during a boudoir session. Most women walk in nervous—unsure, self-conscious, even hesitant. But then, the transformation begins. With every pose, every word of encouragement, every laugh, we peel back the layers. And by the end, she’s glowing. Proud. Powerful.
What brings me joy is not just capturing the image—it’s the impact it leaves. Months later, clients tell me how they still feel radiant every time they look at their photos. How it changed the way they see themselves. That’s the gift of boudoir! it’s not just a session; it’s a shift.

This is Why I Do What I Do
I shoot boudoir because I believe every woman deserves to feel seen. Not for what the world tells her she should be, but for who she already is. Worthy. Beautiful. Enough.
And if I can play even a small part in helping her see that? Then I know I’m walking in my purpose.
